Elite Marketing and Business Consulting, LLC was founded in 2010 by Mr. Ernest Umunna, who is the President and CEO. The company is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He has over 17 years of experience in import and export, marketing, business, and correctional consulting.

Import/export: Mr. Umunna has exported water drilling, automotive, food, agricultural, chemicals, industrial and manufacturing equipment to include consumer goods such as textiles, apparels, footwear, and toys to various African countries from the U.S. and other parts of the world. He has a thorough knowledge in international cargo and shipping inspection, and testing services.

Marketing and Business Consulting: Mr. Umunna for over 10 years has organized and participated in various international trades fairs both in the U.S. and Africa, and has represented different companies. He has 7 years of experience in advertising. In addition to consulting with the American Correctional Association, Mr. Umunna had consulted with the Georgia based Global Teachers Research and Resources, Inc. were he managed the recruitment of foreign teachers in the areas of critical teacher shortages such as Special Education, Mathematics, Science, and facilitated foreign teacher’s orientation and transition to the U.S.

Correctional Consulting: Mr. Umunna is currently a Consultant with the American Correctional Association with over 17 years of experience in correctional consulting. He inspects and audits both juvenile and adult correctional facilities throughout United States to include small, medium and maximum-security facilities. Audits included Community Residential Services, Probation, Parole and Aftercare Services, Correctional Industries, Detention, Jails/Prisons, Food Service Programs, and the Administration of Correctional Agencies. He provides expert knowledge in the areas of disproportionate minority confinement, prison rape elimination, inmate classification and assessment, safety and security, reentry and recidivism, and prison design and construction. He has over 30 years of experience in Correctional Law Enforcement.

Mr. Umunna has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and other degrees in Health Care, Public Health and Finance. He is a member of the Southern Center for International Studies (SCIS), National Associations of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ), American Correctional Associations (ACA), Project Management Institute (PMI), Kiwanis Club, Federation of International Trade Associations (FITA), and other professional organizations.
